Does your town get love letters? Oroville does. With Valentines Day close, we thought it would be a good time to revisit this sweet love letter to Oroville written by the @thetravelingceo of Tugo an online travel insurance provider. In his musings of Oroville, the writer notes that Oroville's "afternoons are open books waiting to record our adventures" and the "brilliance of your days isn't dimmed by the setting of the sun as you pack your sky with a crowded jumble of stars." In a town where "last names don't need to be exchanged" because there is only "one Bob on Fir Street" and "Ann on 3rd", it's not a surprise that Oroville even has its very own "Norm" who is a fixture at the local pub (actually he's the co-owner of the P&D Pub).
Oroville High School student Allie also wrote another love letter to Oroville detailing all the things that make Oroville special. The student instructs newcomers to “not judge a book by its cover” and walks her readers down Main Street sharing all the hidden gems Oroville has to offer.
