October 2025
Oroville's Small Town Halloween Magic: There’s something special about Halloween in Oroville, where community spirit shines brightly, and local businesses and organizations come together to create a night of festive fun. One of the most anticipated events by Oroville's young ghosts and goblins is the annual downtown trick-or-treat celebration. Every Halloween, the Oroville WA Chamber of Commerce organizes this fun night, bringing together families, local businesses, and some good old-fashioned Halloween spirit.
In addition to the classic door-to-door trick-or-treating on Friday, October 31, 2025 at our downtown shops, trunk-or-treat and other events will be hosted throughout town. Halloween 2025 will include trunk or treats hosted by the Oroville Police Department and Oroville CARES in the Frontier Foods overflow parking lot and Hidden Addiction Tattoo is partnering with The Well for its Grand Opening with a trunk or treat in the Expressions parking lot on Main & Appleway. And for those wanting some family friendly activity, Ruth's House and Valley Christian Fellowship will be hosting a Harvest Carnival on Main Street.
The Spirit of Small-Town Halloween
What makes Halloween in Oroville a truly special event is the sense of community it fosters. Neighbors greet neighbors, and even those who don’t have kids come out to join in the fun, making the night a town-wide celebration. There’s something heartwarming about seeing local shop owners, families, and volunteers all working together to create a memorable Halloween experience for the young and "young-at-heart".
