The Oroville Coffee Scene

What’s Brewing in Oroville? There is no better way to slow down and enjoy the leisurely rhythm of a small town than with a good cup of coffee and Oroville’s local coffee scene definitely delivers!  Our coffee purveyors also provide a window into the heart of our community. So come connect with a local at one of our fab-brew-lous sit down coffee shops or ask your drive thru barista about where to go on your next adventure (we are willing to bet they mention the Lost Lake rope swing or the cliffs at Blue Lake!) Each of our coffee shops provides its own unique window into Oroville. Read on...

My Place Coffee and Cream 811 Appleway St. Oroville WA

With plenty of seating, a comfortable couch and fireplace, My Place CNC is a downtown hub. The shop features unique decor from their hand painted tables and chairs to their seasonal decor to a unique mural piece of Oroville’s history. The friendly service, great coffee, breakfast goodies & lunch specials are what keep locals coming back. The coffee shop is also connected to one of Oroville’s well-loved thrift shops, The Wright Place and My Kidz Place Daycare (but don’t worry, the toddler energy is contained in a separate space!). Conveniently located across from the Oroville Library and the Saturday Farmer’s Market is open daily until 3:00 except Sunday.

Java Junkie Espresso 2308 Hwy 97, Oroville WA

The lineup of cars at the “Espresso” coffee stand is your first clue where you can find local favorite, Java Junkie Espresso. Nestled near the entrance to the Veteran’s Memorial Park campground, this coffee stand is a quick walk for those camping at Osoyoos Lake and offers a picnic table to sit and enjoy your caffeinated beverage. Java is a favorite on-the-go stop for coffee, a quick sandwich (toasted jalapeno bagel with cream cheese, anyone?!) or one of their popular Lotus drinks. Chances are your young friendly barista is a homegrown local who can answer most of what you need to know about Oroville. They might even have a special treat for your pooch and point you to the owner’s other business, Dirty Paws Pet Grooming, where you can find a self-serve dog wash in case Fido found something to roll in while on vacay!
