Oroville May Festival
Experience the Tradition of the Oroville May Festival

For over 90 years, Oroville has welcomed visitors, residents and alumni back home for a beloved tradition—the Oroville May Festival & Grande Parade, held every year on the second Saturday of May.
Celebrate the start of summer. Kick off the festivities at the Grande Parade on Oroville’s Main Street at 10:00 AM. The parade features the May Festival Royalty float, class royalty, marching bands, local organizations, and community members. It's a parade filled with small-town charm and community spirit. After the parade, the crowd lingers on Main Street visiting with old friends and new, shopping and dining before heading down to the May Festival at Osoyoos Lake Veteran’s Memorial Park.
Festival activities take place at Oroville's Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park on the shores of beautiful, warm Osoyoos Lake. Guests will not only enjoy the scenic setting but the live music throughout the day, meeting this year's May Festival Royalty, delicious food from a variety of vendors, the Maypole Dancers, the family games, the car show and the annual Duck Races. And the best thing, visitors can camp on site to experience the fun from afternoon into the evening.
Around town, you'll find plenty to do. From live bands and dancing at local venues to the Annual Fun Run, a 5K and 2 mile run with prizes for winners.
Come relive the nostalgia, reconnect with old friends, and make new memories in the heart of Oroville!
